Pulled out the second set of capactive plates. Matched them to the appropriate ribs, marked carefully, and and drilled them in plate for the required nutplates.
Installed the nutplates on both plates, fitted them into the ribs, removed, deburred, and formed to shape. Clearance looks good all around.
